About Barbara Egan and Reportage Creative
Well-known photographer and journalist Barbara Egan initially studied Architecture in UCD before moving to London to do a BA in Photography and Film. In her thirty years working as a photographer, she has wide experience of architectural, interior, studio and product photography.
As an editorial photographer and journalist , she works with a wide range of magazines in Ireland, the UK and Europe. She contributes a bi-monthly ‘Going Places’ feature to The Sunday Times Move supplement.
She moved home from Dublin to beautiful Meath Hill, on the Meath/ Monaghan/Louth/Cavan borders in 2004, although she continues to travel all over the country in her work.
Barbara also produces, scripts and edits video, and wtih a background in flying (she took her Private Pliots Licence exams as a Helicopter Pilot in 2000) passed her IAA approved drone pilot’s exams in 2022.

I have a passion for photography and for writing, I love meeting and working with new people. I always give of my best, because I love what I do so it's never 'work' to me.'
